Charles E. Juneau P.E. P.L.S.

Charles Juneau, a graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla with a degree in Civil Engineering, has been a professional engineer for more than 30 years, beginning his career in South Dakota as a commissioned officer for the Indian Health Service Branch of the U.S. Department of Health-Education and Welfare.

He is presently the CEO of Juneau Associates, a firm he founded with his father in 1980, which has offices in Granite City and Edwardsville. Mr. Juneau holds a Professional Engineering and Land Surveying license in the States of Illinois and Missouri.

His experience includes all phases of project development from conceptual planning and design through construction and project completion documentation for storm water and sewage collection systems, water distribution and treatment systems and municipal street and roadway improvement.

Throughout the years Mr. Juneau has been involved in a number of community activities including serving on the board of directors of; Guardian Savings Bank, The Alliance of Edwardsville and Glen Carbon, the Southwestern Illinois Leadership Council and The Chamber of Commerce of Southwestern Madison County. Mr. Juneau is also a member of the Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce, the City of Grafton Chamber of Commerce, the Maryville American Legion Post, the Madison-Bond County Workforce Investment Board and the Council of owners and Construction Associates.

His professional associations include memberships in; the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Illinois Consulting Engineers Council, the Illinois Society of Professional Land Surveyors, the Missouri Society of Professional Land Surveyors and the American Water Works Association.

Mr. Juneau has been the recipient of many professional awards, including; Young Engineer of the Year from the St. Clair Chapter of ISPE, a Distinguished Service Award from the Consulting Engineering Council of Illinois, and for his service as Chairman of the Students Engaged in Engineering - Southern Region.
