08/01/2019: Bill Pay System Upgrade 8/8

NEW BILL PAY SYSTEM IS COMING AUGUST 8!!!

We are excited about our new bill pay system upgrade.  Many of the features and functionality will be similar to what you’ve experienced in the past, but will include some added features.

Before we get to that, it is extremely important that we remind you of what you can do to prepare and what to expect.

WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW

  • Gather statements from the vendors so you will have their name, billing address, and account number.  You could also retrieve the information from the current bill pay system. If you need assistance in locating your full account number and billing information, please give us a call at 618-876-5544
  • Stop any e-bills you have coming into bill pay now, so you might get a paper bill to help you set up the vendor on the new system, as well as, avoid having the e-bill delivered to the old system after the conversion date.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • AUGUST 7th will be the LAST date you can access the current bill pay system.  It is highly recommended that bill pay users do not wait until this date to pay any bills.  Bills paid on August 7th that are due on a later date may be at risk for cancellation.  To avoid the cancelled or disrupted payments, it is recommended that bills are scheduled to be paid earlier in the week.
  • HISTORY – if you wish to retain your history of bill payment activity, it is recommended that you navigate to the history screen and capture the history.
  • BILL PAY TAB – this tab will no longer be visible within the internet banking site as of August 8th.  Bill pay access will require a separate log in from our website.

AUGUST 8TH – CONVERSION DAY

  • All bill pay users must re-enroll in the new bill pay service.
  • Access to the new bill pay service will be available on our Website – on the home page below the Internet Banking Log in. Whether enrolling or logging in, the URL will be the same.
  • Enrollment will require that you have your check book handy for the 12-digit account number and our routing number (281071081).
  • Enrollment will require that you have a bill available for input (doesn’t have to be one that is due, just one with the billing address and account number to input).
Follow the enrollment and onboarding steps and prompted on the screen.
  • Once the onboarding is complete, your payment center screen should look very similar to our current bill pay system and navigation should feel familiar.
  • Entering additional bills/billers should be familiar as well.

Look for additional information about the new features coming soon.

If you need assistance enrolling in the new system or entering bills, please call to schedule an appointment with a member of our staff.
